SANGA ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, NEAR BHAKTAPUR, NEPAL,
now has a well equipped and functioning science room and qualified science teachers, thanks to funding from Tara Cannon. SHIVA Charity would like to thank her and Game for Life for improvements to this dedicated school. 
In 2005 Sanga English Medium School wanted to register a year 10 class for Level 10 science, but had to convince the local authority that it had the resources to do so. As you can see from the photo (top middle) they had next to nothing, and their "room" (top left) was empty and in need of repair.
SHIVA Charity appealed for funding so that these students, and future students would be able to learn their favourite subject.
Now, thanks to Tara Cannon, we were soon able to design the appropriate furniture, with tables and benches, black formica tops, a sink unit, and shelving, and also buy Chemistry, Physics, and Biology equipment.
The local authority were very pleased to allow us to employ new science teachers and extend the curriculum of the school!
